Karina ESP is the lo-fi ambient/drone solo project of
London-based artist Chris Gowers. Recording processes are centred around
guitars and an array of effects pedals, with additional textures from radio
static, field recordings, and singing bowls.
Signed to the Belgian label Morc Records, Karina ESP has played at various
venues and festivals across Europe, with performances deviating between
carefully formed ambient structures and intense improvisation.
2013 sees the release of new album ‘A
Still From The Film’, which merges melancholic drones, minimal Spanish guitar
and lo-fi song-structures.
