Microdeform began in 2011 as the experimental/ambient solo project for Bristol musician Liam McConaghy.
Debut album 'Mortlake' was self-released in May 2012 and a series of live shows followed soon after, including participation in the collaborative event Amalgam #0 at the Cube Cinema, Bristol in July 2012. Recent sets have moved towards more long-form improvisations using turntable, 4-track tape machine, synthesizer, mixer and effects pedals. A couple of solo and colaborative releases are in the works for 2013.
